To open, untie the loop strap on the middle of the umbrella. 3. With umbrella facing away from you, press the button located on the handle. The umbrella will open automatically. Please use caution when opening umbrella, as it opens quickly. 4. To close, press the button located on the handle. By doing so the canopy of the umbrella will close. 5. While holding the handle with one hand, push down the umbrella from the top with your other hand and glide it down until you hear a "click" sound. 6. Lastly, retie the loop strap found on the middle of the umbrella and wrap it around the umbrella to close securely.
